Rami Abulaban builds

I built Booklit with Rami as his co-founder and our lead engineer. He turned what we were hearing from customers into a growth strategy we could actually act on, and he was there at every step: design, customer research, and right through implementation and testing. That's a big part of how we reached 30,000 active users in under 120 days.

As Rami's co-founder at Blocks, I focused on operations and go-to-market while he drove the product. He designed the app, played a significant part in building it, and shipped the progression, social and discovery features that keep people coming back. He took Blocks from an idea to the App Store without ever dropping the thread.

I partnered with Rami on Send & Split at American Express. He leads a product that moves billions of dollars a year, and he still makes every partner team feel part of the decision. When he rebuilt enrollment and account linking for new cardmembers, he brought us in early, and conversion went up 20%.

Rami is the PM partner teams want on a product like Send & Split. He's clear about what matters, honest about the tradeoffs, and he follows through. With more than six million cardmembers on the product, that steadiness shows up in the work.

Rami built the inventory system and CRM behind our van wholesale business. Before building anything, he took the time to understand how we actually operate: our needs, our pain points and our requirements. The tool worked from day one, and it has made running our operations far more effective.
